Attorney Robert Handelman has practiced law in central Ohio since 1976. He is a founder of the former Calig and Handelman Law Firm which had provided legal services throughout central Ohio for more than 20 years. Attorney Handelman provides legal representation primarily to individuals and families as well as small businesses. Handelman Law Office is a proud recipient of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce 2020 Business of the Year.

Mr. Handelman has been involved in the Newark and Licking County community in a number of volunteer, service, and leadership capacities. Currently Robert serves as President of the Midland Theatre Board and Co-Chair of the Licking County Board of Realtors Legislative Committee. He has previously served as President/Chairman of the Newark Downtown Association, Newark Kiwanis, Newark Alliance, Newark Tree Commission and BSA Troop 8, member and past President of the Licking County Bar Association, past Trustee of The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers (now the Ohio Association of Justice), and past member and President of Newark City School Board and C-TEC of Licking County.
